LOTTE – Graduation Film

‘Lotte’ is a multitude; a historical figure, a fictional character, a statue, a picture, a company. This multitude culminates into a story; the story of my ancestor, who happens to also have been the inspiration for Goethe’s book „The Sorrows of Young Werther“ and by extension for a Korean multinational. Her existence and presence in my animation allows us to travel through time and space weaving in and out of reality and fiction, from a dreamworld to our consumer economy and its challenges.
